Astronomy Night March 6
The Coca-Cola Space Science Center will hold an Astronomy Night this Saturday, March 6, at F. D. Roosevelt State Park. We will start at 7 p.m. with a brief presentation on the current night sky, and then our staff will assist members of the public (weather permitting) to view these various celestial objects through our telescopes.
Admission is FREE and open to the public; however, be aware that the state park charges a $5 parking fee per vehicle. Those attending are welcome to bring their own telescopes, and if desired, we will assist with telescope set-up and use. A map to the park can be found from the Mead Observatory website (or alternately, a direct link here).
