Telescope Seminar and Astro Night

The Space Science Center will be holding a seminar, "So You Just Bought a Telescope", on Saturday, January 30, 2010. The discussion begins at 4 p.m. This seminar is free and open to the public; you are welcome to bring your own telescopes.

Later that evening, we will hold a free public Astronomy Night, beginning at 7 p.m. with a presentation in the Omnisphere Planetarium. Weather permitting, we will then move outside for night sky viewing. We will have our own fleet of telescopes handled by Space Science Center interns. In addition, those who attended the seminar can now bring your telescopes outside, and our staff will give assistance and helpful pointers in their use.
